This isn’t about good or bad. It’s about where our eyes fall, it’s where the elements draw us and where the signposts created by YOU the image maker, lead your VIEWER.

It’s about INTENTION.

During the 31 days of October we will journey a road of intention. We will focus on the fundamentals of photography: COMPOSITION, LIGHT, COLOUR & STORYTELLING.

You are welcome to create with your phone. You can use your DSLR, mirrorless or Instax if you are brave enough!!!

It’s a dialogue, a language and I’m going to introduce you to the basics so you can tell the stories you are drawn to telling. Whether it’s showing your Mum how beautiful she looked playing with your kids, or how the shelves in your store are brimming of products to your customer base.

Your INTENTION comes from within and that is the true BEAUTY of it.

BEAUTIFUL INTENTION includes:

• a week on COMPOSITION; understanding the rules, how we read and how we speak within the frame

• a week on LIGHT; hunting, playing and tuning in wherever you are in the world

• a week on COLOUR; exploring the fundamentals of colour theory and how it can improve your results

• ten days of STORYTELLING; every attendee will tell their own short story with what they have learnt

• there will be presentations covering each topic followed by a Q&A

• you will receive a PDF with exercises and fundamentals to explore

• there will be opportunity to share your work and receive feedback
