align & shine MASTERCLASS
THE POWER OF GATHERING is so often underestimated.
Working as a creative can be lonely; we MUSE alone, we imagine within, we create and create some more ….alone and it’s not until we share every step of this process in the form of an image, Series or project that we begin to feel less alone.
However, with the wilds of social media, the insane busyness we are living with AND the uncertainty of our industry yet again, never has there been a greater need for the gathering of like-minds, a space to breathe, safe exchanges, shared energy, support and guidance.
‘align and shine’ is a unique Masterclass run by me, Chloe Lodge
the Masterclass package includes your own room in a converted wool shed with continental breakfast and free range eggs every morning. It includes wine tasting, High County Station walking and all meals from Tuesday evening to Friday lunch.
And the photography? It’s going to be epic.
We will embrace the glorious scenery of the Waitaki Valley as Autumn turns to Winter, one of the most spectacular times of year
There will be opportunities to capture a blanket of stars to sunrise over the lakes
Throughout the three days there will be creative self exercises to do alone and as a group
You will have access to the art library in Chloe’s Art Room and Studio
There will presentations by Chloe and a soon-to-be announced presenter
And there will be opportunities for you to shape part of our time together with questions YOU bring to the table
The investment is NZ$2700
Payable in one payment upfront or across three months.
What can each individual hope to achieve?
You will learn from a Master’s trained, experienced professional who is an award winning photographer and Nikon NZ Creator.
We will discuss your current work and/or a personal project you’ve been working on as a group
We will chat through creative gaps you may be facing, we will dream big and tangible
Together we will build a six month creative plan for you to go away with
The Masterclass will be held in Kurow, North Otago, New Zealand. The nearest airports are Timaru, Dunedin, Queenstown and Christchurch. There is a great deal to do in the South Island, if you are coming from overseas I would 100% recommend you extend a little before or after if you can to make the most of it. The High Country walk is gentle and mostly downhill, the wine is of course optional however a willingness to shine is essential.
